BJP Telangana Unity Chairman Bandi Sanjay Kumar decided to launch statewide protests after discussing with state and district level party leaders during a teleconference on Tuesday . Sanjay said, “Everyone, regardless of political affiliation, should condemn the atrocities committed by the TRS leaders.”

He called on party workers to hold black flag protests and rallies in all district headquarters on Wednesday. He added: “Since he was undertaking padayatra, there was no possibility that he would participate in the rallies. He however said that he would participate in the protest ‘deeksha’ from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. holding black flags. and wearing black badges at the yatra camp near Saddalonipalle village of Gadwal assembly constituency.

A BJP delegation would also meet Governor Tamilisai Soundarrajan in Raj Bhavan and submit a representation to him, seeking a CBI investigation into the atrocities of the ruling TRS, including the suicide of BJP worker Sai Ganesh in the town of Khammam. (ANI)
