ACHIEVEMENTS

During my tenure as a state representative, I worked very hard. One of the greatest achievements is the Center Caro. The state had decided to move him. Senator Daley and I negotiated with the governor to keep him in Caro, saving hundreds of jobs and providing a new hospital for those in need of psychiatric care. I also received the Legislator of the Year award from the Professional Legal Guardians Association for my work with them.

WHY ARE YOU APPLYING FOR AN OFFICE?

As a current state representative, it is an honor to represent the people of Lansing. Many politicians talk about lowering taxes and representing the values of their neighborhood; but when it comes time to vote, they turn their backs on people back home. I currently sit in supply and I believe you can spend your money better than big government. Recently, I voted to have the state of Michigan return most of its huge surplus to you and relieve us at the gas pump. That’s why I’m showing up, to make your voice heard in Lansing and to help keep your hard-earned money in your pocket.

WHY ARE YOU APPLYING FOR AN OFFICE?

There are so many things that need to be fixed in our government, taxes, licensing, social programs, roads, the list goes on. We need more people in government with proven problem-solving skills. I’ve spent 37 years as an engineer solving some of the toughest organizational and technical problems in the automotive industry. I want to bring those same skills to Lansing to solve the problems we face in our Genesee, Lapeer and Tuscola counties.

ACHIEVEMENTS

I graduated from Farmington High School and Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. After college, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a lifelong dream of working in film.

While in Hollywood, I started out in talent representation and eventually co-founded a company specializing in financing, producing and selling independent films.

I am credited as a producer on seven independent feature films starring actors such as Daniel Radcliffe, Pierce Brosnan and Viola Davis. I finally returned from California because it no longer corresponded to my values. I currently reside in Metamora and work as a Logistics and Supply Chain Manager for a small Michigan-based fuel distributor.

WHY ARE YOU APPLYING FOR AN OFFICE?

We are currently in a fight for the soul of this nation. For the first time in my life, I fear both for my generation and for generations of people younger than me. For years we conservative Christians have given up far too many of our rights and beliefs to appease a radical group of people who hate this country and will never be satisfied no matter what is given up. The working class has been sold out as our young people learn that America is racist and inherently evil. This must stop now. If we want to keep this land free, we need fighters who are willing to stand up and remind people that America is the greatest country on earth, and we are all blessed to be here.

Ultimately, I believe it is the patriotic duty of citizens who are able to step in and fill positions when needed. If elected as a representative of your state, I promise to always fight for those who have been left behind by the rampant corruption and terrible policies authorized by our previously elected leaders. I promise to be a champion of the people and to always put America first.

I am currently serving my third term as administrator of the Township of Thetford. I have been favorably re-elected since 2012. My notoriety has grown since my first election in 2012, earning a reputation as a defender of the constitution by keeping a watchful eye on wasteful spending. and vote “no” to higher taxes. In my first year in office, I had to sue my county in the 6th Circuit Supreme Court for a 4th Amendment violation that corrupt officials forced on me to be the voice of reason.

WHY ARE YOU APPLYING FOR AN OFFICE?

I see the political divide as toxic and invasive to people’s lives, but I’m no stranger to it. I will stand firm to uphold the constitution and defend myself against radical opposition. I will vote to lower taxes. I will vote with my fellow Republicans to ensure the election runs smoothly and with integrity. I will always put the welfare of people before business or bureaucracy. I am well aware that our country is in political peril and I am prepared to work hard for you to keep the government in check.

WHY ARE YOU APPLYING FOR AN OFFICE?
