Fast Company Announces Return of In-Person Fast Company Innovation Festival

Fast Company announces its 8th annual Fast Company Innovation Festival, taking place September 19-22 in New York City. During the week, the festival theme “Innovation Unbound” will bring together leaders, creators, inventors, founders and artists who are driving innovation in 2022 for bold conversations, hands-on workshops and exclusive tours within of innovative companies. The Festival will also feature a variety of helpful networking sessions to help attendees make positive changes in their careers and industries.

Participants in the Festival of Innovation will design their own programs, choosing from a series of high-level keynote conversations and thought-provoking talks and workshops to be held at Convene (225 Liberty Street, New York, NY), where Attendees will be able to connect with the Fast Company team and each other. More than 50 Fast Tracks are also on the program, offering behind-the-scenes tours of some of New York’s most creative companies and institutions.

For the first time in the Festival’s history, Fast Company presents Taste of Innovation, a one-of-a-kind culinary experience featuring New York’s top chefs and some of the city’s best restaurants and libations.

The main stage presented by Capital One will feature more than a dozen editorial sessions with the biggest names in technology, business, media and beyond. Attendees will hear directly from innovators and world-changing leaders. Capital One will also host the festival’s opening night on Tuesday, September 20, along with personalized sessions on the future of travel and how to deliver more meaningful customer experiences, and a workshop on how to inspire and reinvent the innovation.

Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) will host an engaging session on sustainability and the future of solar energy. The state is fourth in the nation for solar growth and will share the impact this has on energy use, the environment, businesses and people. Innovation Festival attendees will also be able to network, connect and refresh during IEDC’s Mix and Mingle cocktail hour on Wednesday, September 21.

Lenovo will host an in-depth discussion featuring renowned business leaders and a futurist who will shed light on innovations that will disrupt the business and consumer worlds. Additionally, Lenovo will lead an exciting session examining the future of working from anywhere and how innovations such as foldable technologies will make organizations and employees work better.

Altair will offer insight into how innovation thrives when companies come together, looking beyond the innovations organizations develop internally and seek out the best external solutions to accelerate innovation.

FIS will dive into the future of fintech and integrated financial platforms through the dynamic people who create them.

GS1 US will explore how innovation combined with collective action can build more sustainable supply chains that better serve businesses, consumers and our planet.

IBM will host sessions on innovation at the heart of the business and how enterprises are leveraging industrial clouds in a hybrid world to unlock business value.

IPG will host an engaging panel on how brands can move from marketing ‘with’ and ‘to’ people to marketing ‘with’ and ‘for’ them, by making smarter use of data and technology.

Through discussions and live demos, Loop Media will shine a light on companies using new, forward-looking rewards initiatives to drive business and loyalty.

Meta will host a workshop led by experts from Meta’s Creative Store on Getting Started with Augmented Reality and host a dynamic panel discussion that will explain why the Metaverse is here and why it’s here to stay. Meta will also host a virtual reality experience for all Festival attendees.

In an illuminating roundtable, Skillsoft will explore how investing in talent and developing leaders pays dividends in communities and beyond, with compounding returns.

Convene is the Venue Partner of the 2022 Innovation Festival and will host a panel discussion on innovative strategies for companies to be agile and resilient by creating cultures that support their teams.
