March 01, 2022 After painful State of the Union speech, black activists say Biden has failed America
washington d.c. – In response to President Biden’s 2022 State of the Union address, members of the black leadership network Project 21 said the president had earned his near-record approval rate unabashedly championing leftist policies that have contributed to soaring inflation, supply chain issues, unchecked foreign aggression, and the scars of COVID shutdowns.
“Joe Biden’s trust in America doesn’t exist. As an Air Force veteran, I’m so embarrassed. Biden’s military is weak,” said Project 21 member Tiffanie Ditlevson. And the “Biden Buck” added on a gallon of gasoline – like Dollar Tree – crept up to the “Biden Buck and a Quarter”. The cost of a full tank of gas is equivalent to a bag of groceries, dinner for two at Applebee’s or children’s running shoes. Mr. President, open the Keystone XL pipeline and let America regain its energy independence.
Sixty-one percent of respondents in a recent Yahoo News/YouGov poll said President Biden had failed to deliver on his promises. The president’s aggregate approval rating is just 41.1% so far, March 1.
In his State of the Union address, President Biden began with calls for unity – but quickly resorted to class warfare rhetoric and pushed for increased spending and taxes.
“Instead of calling the president’s speech ‘the state of the union,’ it would have been more appropriate to call it the issue led by our union,” said Project 21 member Emery McClendon. struggling to make ends meet under President Biden’s policies. They are reducing their expectations of better days as they prepare for another round of bad economic news that is expected to include shutdowns, shortages and high unemployment. It will take more than sugar-coated words to comfort those struggling to afford the higher costs of energy, food and other necessities.
President Biden has also advocated for special rights for sexual minorities, policies that would weaken the integrity of elections, and increased access and funding for abortion. While praising the courage of Ukrainians fighting the Russian invasion, the president has sought to reduce Second Amendment protections for his own citizens.
“Biden demonstrated liberal commitment to failed policy by calling on Congress to pass the disastrous ‘Pro Act’ that would destroy the gig economy. He also renewed his call for passage of his Build Back Better plan – legislation so unpopular that even his allies opposed it last year,” said Project 21 co-chair Stacy Washington. a ‘unity program’, but it’s just a ploy to fix his image and nothing more. I’m not buying it, and Americans who are struggling to recover from the horrific pandemic policies of the left no more. “
Other members of Project 21 reacted strongly to President Biden’s speech.
“I guess you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. Biden doubled down on radical progressive policies that the American people rejected,” said Project 21 member David L. Lowery, Jr.. “That address should have spoken about real issues, but instead it let the American people down. We have record inflation on gas, food and energy costs, and its solution is more welfare for corporate governments.
“I find it quite interesting that President Biden talked about cutting costs to industry when the average American business is known to pay close to $10,000 per employee every year to comply with federal regulations,” said Martin Baker, a member of Project 21. “How about starting by reducing onerous regulations? And don’t get me started on his definition of “voting rights.”
“If you spent your whole life in space and fell to earth to watch this State of the Union address, you would think something very different than if you had actually lived here for the past two years,” said remarked Project 21 member AK Kamara. “When Biden tried to call for unity, I burst out laughing. If he really believed the words he said, he wouldn’t have alienated Americans who believe in the right to make their own medical choices by encouraging the use of forced medical procedures and mandates. If he really believed the words he was speaking, he wouldn’t have told Americans that the fight against COVID was a war of the unvaccinated against the vaccinated.
“Just three months ago, my daughter and I were in Independence Square in Kyiv,” said Project 21 member Richard Holt, who recently visited Russia and Ukraine and keeps in touch. with citizens of both countries. “We talked about the revolution that put this country back on the path to liberal democracy. To say that the invasion of Ukraine has torn our hearts with sadness would be an understatement. Biden’s weakness and his disastrous exit from Afghanistan signaled to the world that American dominance may be coming to an end. The liberal democratic order and the post-war institutions we have created are no longer able to deter aggression. This is only the beginning if we don’t change course now.
